The Annual Take Me Fishing event at Comanche Trail Park Pond is Saturday, February 9 from 10am-2pm. There will be free door prizes and lots of fun for all ages. No Registration required, Free event for the community.
Please bring your own pole, as supplies are limited.
Kids Angler Education
TPWD & Odessa Parks representatives will teach the basics of traditional fishing such as tying the hook on to the line, cast a spincasting reel, identify fish, and demonstrate how to be a safe and responsible angler.

Contests and Games
There will be multiple contests and games where participants can win free prizes!
No Fishing License Required
During the event (10am-2pm) no License is required. After the event concludes, the need for License for anyone over the age of 17 will be reinstated.
